Common Questions
Is there a nursery?
There is a nursery available. It is located under the Sanctuary and is staffed from 9:00 am to noon on Sundays for children 5 years old and under.
When should I arrive?
Services start at the times listed above, but most people arrive a few minutes before the service to listen to the prelude music and greet those around them. If you find that you're late for the service, don't worry, just find your way to a seat and join in with the service.
What should I expect when I get there?
Most people enter through the narthex, which is on the southeast corner of the sanctuary. Before you enter the sanctuary, greeters may welcome you to the church. As you enter, an usher will hand you a bulletin with the order of the service. Once you find your way to a seat where you feel comfortable, you'll find a hymnal with hymns for the traditional services. If you have questions during the service, feel free to ask those seated near you.
What should I wear?
You'll find a wide variety of clothing choices at St. Paul's, ranging from casual to formal. Generally speaking, the Saturday and 11:15am services tend to be more informal than the 7:45am and 9:00am services. If in doubt, business-casual attire is always a safe option.
