Tons of Scrap for Scholars

The Tons of Scrap for Scholars metal drive will be on Saturdays August 7 and 14.  Collection bins will be in the school parking lot from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The scrap metal drive is sponsored by the St. Paul's Lutheran School Annual Fund.  The Fund will receive $100 per ton of scrap from A-Line Iron & Metals, Waterloo.

Tickets for the Texas Tenors & Church Basement Ladies 2

Tickets are available in the church office.  Both are part of the Wartburg Artist Series.  The Tenors preform September 24 & 25 at 7:30 p.m., tickets are $26.25 each.  Church Basement Ladies perform January 25 at 2:00 and 7:30 p.m. and are $22.50 each.

Volunteers are in the Narthex to direct you to a photographer or set an appointment.  See the poster in the narthex for dates and times to choose from.

The Cemetery Committee has scheduled a work day

at St. Paul's cemetery for Saturday, July 24 starting at 8:30 a.m.  All St. Paul's are invited in join in.  Refreshments will be furnished.  The cemetery committee consists of: Virgil Hartman, Jeff Hemingson, Kent Morgan, Dave Sharp, Jan Striepe and Duaine Westpfahl.  They welcome all comments, suggestions and assistance.
