Intercessory Prayer Ministry

St Paul's Intercessory Prayer Ministry is composed of lay members who, on a weekly basis, offer prayers on behalf of others. Prayer requests are collected each Sunday following services and are prayed for daily by one or more of the Intercessory Prayer Ministers. Each prayer minister commits to spending a minimum of 1/2 hour each week in the sanctuary praying for the prayer requests that have been submitted.

The Intercessory Prayer Ministry is expanding its membership. Anyone interested is invited to attend their monthly prayer circle on the first Tuesday of each month from 2-3 p.m. in the Social Room. Persons interested is participating, but who are unable to attend the monthly meetings are also encouraged to join. A special orientation/information session will be arranged.

Each fall St. Paul's Intercessory Prayer Ministres gather for a simple ceremony and a sacred burning of the previous year's prayer requests. The ashes are then spread throughout the flower beds in the church courtyard.
