Family Resources

These resources are here to help families grow together in faith, community and service.  Please explore the pages and use the ideas in your own family.  It could make a world of difference!

Taking Faith Home

The "Taking Faith Home” resources below are for families to use each week as a devotional tool at home.  They include daily scripture texts, prayers, and seasonal topics, and ideas for service and family discussion.  Please consider using them as a tool for family devotions in the evening or at the dinner table.

Faith Huddle!

Make the "Faith Huddle" a nightly tradition in your home.  Here's how it works.  Whoever is going to bed first in your home calls “Faith Huddle!” Everyone must stop what they’re doing and gather together to do the following four things.

1. Go around the circle, and share your highs & lows for the day.
2. Read a Bible story or verse of scripture.
3. Talk about how the scripture verses relate to your daily lives.
4. Pray for each other, your family, and the world.

Family Fellowship Group

St. Paul's Family Fellowship Group meets monthly for a potluck, games for the kids, and fellowship and discussion for the adults.  Childcare is always provided.  If you are interested in joining this group, contact Paul Frantsen, Director of Family and Youth Ministry.

We are going to be choosing a new discussion focus for our group in January.  Now is a good time to get involved!
