Giving
God gives each of us a unique set of gifts. We celebrate these gifts with our entire lives, sharing our time, talents and resources. By giving of ourselves, we return to God what is God's and support ministries in the community and around the world. We strive to be good stewards of God's gifts, working faithly and responsibly in mission for or world.
How to Give
St. Paul's provides several ways to give. Whether you want to make one-time gifts, set up regular online giving, or prefer to use traditional weekly envolopes, we try to make the process as easy as possible.
Cash
You can give cash during regular weekly worship services or drop it off at St. Paul's office during normal business hours.
Check
You may give checks three ways:
- place them in the offering plate during worship
- drop them off at St. Paul's office
- mail them to St. Paul's Lutheran Church / 112 2nd Ave NW / Waverly, IA 50677
Direct Deposit with Simply Giving
Simplify your giving by authorizing a regular, automated transfer of your gifts from your account directly to the church account. It's a confidential and convenient way to support to the church. It's regular and consistent and eliminates the cost of envelopes, saving paper and time.
To get started, you can sign up on the Simply Giving Website, or download an authorization form which you can fill out and turn in to the church office. This form is also available at the church.
One-time Online Gifts
You can also use Simply Giving to make one-time gifts. The process is a fast, convenient, and secure way for you to give. To make an electronic payment, you will need to provide the bank routing number and account number as they appear at the bottom of a check. Gifts may be designated for St. Paul's General Fund, Capital Improvement, School Tuition, Annual Fund, or World Hunger.
If this is your first time using the Simply Giving system, we recommend that you create a profile. A profile is not required, but it stores your information so that it is unnecessary to re-enter it with each gift and allows you to track your gifts easily.
