Junior High Youth
St. Paul's Lutheran Church offers a variety of events to help young people grow in faith, community and service. Join us on Sunday mornings or Wednesday evenings to hear about all that is going on with the junior high youth. All are welcome.

Chicago Trip June 8-10
It’s a fun service trip for jr high youth! We will visit Holy Family Lutheran Church, do lots of activities with their youth group, explore Chicago, grow together in faith, and have a lot of fun too! Activities include Lou Malnati's pizza, Miracle Mile night walk, Lake Michigan beach, serving at the Chicago Food Depository, visit Millenium Park, and Navy Pier. Download a Registration Form.
Holy Family Visit Date TBA
Our friends from Holy Family Lutheran Church will be visiting us again this summer. We will be planning a bunch of fun fellowship activities during their time in Waverly. If your family is interested in hosting one or two students please contact the church office.
Walk For Life June 22
We will be helping with the event again this year. We start at 2:00 pm preparing luminaries to set around the track for the event. We need a few kids wagons to haul the luminaries.
WIYLDE July 25-29
8th Graders invited! WIYLDE is a 5-day leadership camp at Luther College with other high school youth from across Iowa. You can count on having a ton of fun, meeting many awesome people, and growing a lot in your faith too! Activities: swimming, hiking, games, tubing down the Upper Iowa River, fun service projects, faith talks, small group discussions, youth-led worship, hike to DQ, outdoor water Olympics, and 75 new friends for life! Weekly Activities
Drama & Devos
Youth meet Sundays at 10:10 a.m. in the youth room for Bible study, games, food, and discussion.
Confirmation Classes Wednesdays at 2:45 p.m.
Youth in 6th-8th grades meet each week at St. Paul's for confirmation classes.
